Based on the gorgeous pen and ink drawings of the renaissance, l'orient is a thoroughly modern damask. We went to great lengths to achieve the gorgeous color and line quality of perfectly aged drawings. The result is a considered, informal but beautiful design steeped in the tradition of art.
