One frame covers the stretch from newborn to toddler, which is what the 4-in-1 layout is for. The basic playard measures 40 by 28.5 by 29 inches and holds up to 33 lbs, taking a child who is crawling and pulling up. Above it a bassinet is rated for 20 lbs, keeping a newborn at a height that does not require bending to the floor. A diaper changing table measuring 28 by 19 inches also carries 20 lbs and lifts off completely when it is not wanted, alongside a removable storage bag that keeps wipes and spares within arm's reach during a change. Overhead, a canopy with a net shades and screens the sleeping area, and three hanging toys plus a multi-functional music box give a waking baby something to look at and listen to. Safety is designed into the structure rather than added on: a stable 7-point supporting frame resists the rocking a child creates by pulling on one side, and anti-collision round edges protect from injuries at every corner. Folding and unfolding are quick, and a 29.5 by 8.5 by 8.5 inch carry bag comes with it, which makes traveling with the whole setup a single item to lift. Recommended for ages 0 to 3 years, the playard weighs 23 lbs and includes a 38 by 26.5 inch mattress. It complies with ASTM and CPSIA.
