One frame that changes four times as a child grows from nine months to five years. It begins as a toddler tricycle with the seat reversed to face the adult pushing, becomes a push trike facing forward once a child wants to see ahead, then a learn-to-ride trike as they start working the pedals, and finally a plain tricycle once the push handle comes off. Each stage uses the same metal frame and breathable polyester seat, so nothing has to be bought again at each step. The push handle adjusts between 40.5 and 42.5 in, which covers the reach difference between two adults without either of them walking bent over, and it carries the brake so the person pushing keeps control while a child is still learning what pedals do. The canopy blocks strong sunlight, tilts to follow it through the day, and lifts off entirely through a fixing device when shade is not wanted. Safety runs through detachable guardrails around the seat and a five-point safety belt, and the foot pedals are anti-slip. Three all-terrain wheels handle changes in road surface. The seat holds up to 55 lbs, measures 10.5 by 6.5 in with a 16-in backrest, and the whole trike weighs 20 lbs, standing 37.5 by 19 by 45 in with canopy and handle fitted or 30 by 19 by 31.5 in without them.
