Each of the twelve slats on this queen frame is screwed down rather than dropped into a channel, which is why the deck stays silent when someone rolls over. Raised rail edges pen the mattress inside the frame instead of letting it slide toward the 14-in footboard. Solid rubber wood legs bring the rated load to 800-lb beneath an 8-in to 12-in queen mattress, with no box spring required. The 35-in dark walnut headboard reads rustic against painted walls, and 7.5-in of clearance keeps a mop moving.
