Bar height rather than counter height: the seat sits 29 in up with a 12-in footrest, sized for tables of 40-43 in, and the whole stool stands 43 in tall. The set of 2 bar-height stools fits a home bar or raised table. White painted rubber wood forms the X-braced back and legs, and the 16.5 x 16 in cushion of sponge under linen swivels through a full turn. Each stool holds 330 lbs, and the pair weighs 40 lbs, which is enough mass to stop them wandering when someone pushes back from the bar. A 14-in backrest supports the spine without reaching the shoulder blades.
